The LATCH base from Simple Parenting has been designed especially for the Doona™, and can be installed into your car using the LATCH or your car’s seatbelt. The base has been engineered with safety and simplicity at the forefront of the design. Simply click the Doona™ car seat into position and un-clip from the base to lift the seat from vehicle.

• The Doona Base conforms to all applicable Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards. This Restraint is certified for Use in Motor Vehicles.
• The Doona Base has been designed, tested and certified in accordance with US safety standards and regulations.
• The Doona Base can be installed in the vehicle either with the LATCH system or with the vehicle’s belt.

What is LATCH?

LATCH stands for Lower Anchors and Tethers for Children; these anchors are specifically designed for car seats installation.

Since 2002, LATCH connectors have been required by law in the USA for all vehicles. Check your vehicle manual to ensure that the vehicle is equipped with LATCH anchor points.
